Bizzo Casino Closed My Account
A straight answer about whether you will get it back, a much more useful one about getting your money out, and the order to do things in so you do not make it worse.
The short answer
No, you will very probably not get the account reopened — the terms let the operator close an account at its discretion, and appeals overturn factual errors, not decisions. What you can get, and should chase immediately, is your cash balance. Ask for it in writing, do not open a second account, and keep every screenshot. Reopening is the wrong goal; getting paid and moving on is the right one.
Search this phrase and you land in forum threads, which is telling in itself: there is no official page anywhere that explains what happens next, because no operator has any incentive to write one. What you get instead is forty people describing forty slightly different situations, most of them furious, few of them with an ending.
So here is the version nobody selling you a casino will write. The account is gone. Spending a week arguing about that is a week you are not spending on the only part that is actually recoverable, which is the money. Below is what typically causes a closure, how to get a balance released, the narrow circumstances in which an appeal genuinely works, and where to go when it does not.
Why the account was closed
You will rarely be told which of these applied. But the closure message usually hints at it, and the timing gives it away more than people realise — a closure the day after a withdrawal request is a different animal from one that arrives out of a clear blue sky.
Duplicate account
The most common single cause. Matching is done on name, address, device fingerprint and payment method — so a second account you never intended, or a household member on the same broadband and the same surname, can trip it. Bonus abuse checks run across the whole group's brands, not just Bizzo.
Verification failed or contradicted itself
Name on the card not matching the account, an address that does not match the documents, a document the checker could not read. Often fixable if you get in early with clean documents — this is the category where appeals actually succeed.
Bonus terms breached
Usually the maximum stake while wagering — commonly €5 a spin. One feature buy over the cap is enough. Closure for this normally comes with the bonus balance voided but the original deposit intact.
Third-party payment method
Depositing from a card or wallet that is not in your own name is an anti-money-laundering red line, not a technicality. Even a partner's card with permission will do it. This one is hard to argue back from.
Automated risk flag
A VPN, a sudden change of country, an unusual deposit pattern, or a match against a sanctions or PEP screening list. Some of these are genuine false positives, and those are worth challenging with evidence.
You asked, or you self-excluded
Easy to forget a cooling-off you set months ago. If it was a self-exclusion, it will not be lifted and should not be — see the note at the bottom of this page.
Getting the balance out — do this first
Closure and confiscation are different decisions. Unless the operator has told you the funds are voided, the euro balance in that account is still owed to you, and the sequence below is the one that gets it paid fastest.
-
1
Screenshot everything, now
The closure message, the balance, your transaction history, your verification status. If the account gets locked out entirely you lose all of it, and every route from here asks you to prove what was there.
-
2
Ask in writing for the balance, not for the account
One short message: "My account was closed on [date]. Please confirm the withdrawable balance and process it to [method]." Do not argue about the closure in the same message — it changes the question the agent is answering. Live chat works, but the in-account form leaves a better record; the contact page has both routes.
-
3
Complete verification even though the account is closed
Counter-intuitive, and it catches people out. The operator cannot legally pay out to an unverified account, so if your ID was never completed the money is stuck until it is — closure or no closure.
-
4
Expect the payout to the original method
Card in, card out. If the card has expired or the wallet is closed, say so up front and offer a bank transfer in the same name — that is the standard substitute and asking early saves a week.
-
5
Give it five working days before you chase
Closed-account payouts sit outside the normal withdrawal queue and are slower than the 19-hour average we measured on live accounts. Chasing daily does not speed it up; a single polite follow-up quoting the ticket reference does more.
What you will not get back: bonus funds, winnings from wagering that was never completed, and anything the operator has specifically told you was won in breach of the terms. Arguing those alongside a legitimate cash claim tends to slow the legitimate part down. Separate them.
The narrow case where an appeal actually works
Worth appealing
- A duplicate-account match that is actually a housemate or family member with their own documents
- A document rejected because it was unreadable, where you can send a clean one
- An address mismatch caused by a recent move, with a dated bill to prove it
- A location flag from a VPN you can explain and have since stopped using
What these share: a fact was wrong, and you can supply the right one. That is a correction, not a plea.
Not worth appealing
- A max-bet breach you did commit, however accidentally
- A deposit from someone else's card, even with their blessing
- "I have been a loyal customer for two years" — true, and irrelevant to the decision
- A closure with no stated reason and nothing on your side to correct
In these cases the energy is better spent on the payout. Chase the money, close the chapter.
If you are appealing, do it once, in one message, with the evidence attached. Send it through the complaints procedure rather than live chat — front-line agents cannot reverse a closure and asking them to just generates a polite refusal that then sits in your file.
If the balance still is not paid
Formal complaint to the operator
Linked from the terms page. Keep it to dates, amounts and what was said — no adjectives. State clearly what you want: payment of a specific sum to a specific method. This step is mandatory in practice, because nothing downstream will look at a case that has not been through it.
The licensing authority named in the footer
Bizzo is operated by TechSolutions Group N.V. under a Curaçao licence. That authority takes player complaints, and it is a slower and blunter instrument than an EU regulator, but it exists and operators do respond to it. Have your complaint reference and transcripts ready.
Your card issuer or e-wallet
Only relevant if money left your account recently and something went wrong with the transaction itself. A chargeback is not a way to reverse gambling losses and attempting one on that basis will get you banned across the group. Where it is legitimate — a deposit taken twice, a payment for something not delivered — go to your bank, not to the casino.
What is not available: an Irish regulator
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland began issuing remote betting licences on 1 July 2026, but online casino licences are a later phase. Until Bizzo holds one, the GRAI has no jurisdiction over your complaint. That gap is the single biggest practical downside of playing offshore, and it is covered in more detail on our is it legit page.
Who this page is not for
If you self-excluded
Then the account being closed is the system working, not failing, and none of the advice above applies to getting it back. Ireland's national exclusion register is not live yet, so there is nothing stopping you signing up elsewhere — which makes this the moment where the decision is genuinely yours. Free, confidential support is available around the clock from GamblingCare.ie on 1800 936 725, and from Gamblers Anonymous Ireland. You are still owed your balance, and you can ask for it without reopening anything.
If your plan is a second account
This page will not help, and the plan will not work. Duplicate detection is the thing these operators are genuinely good at, and a second account after a closure hands them a clean reason to void a balance they currently owe you. Get paid first. Then decide whether you want to play anywhere at all.
If the account is locked, not closed
Different problem, better odds. A lock is usually temporary — failed logins, a pending document, a compliance hold that clears. Start with live chat rather than a complaint, and give it a working day before assuming the worst.
